Congratulations to our MSc graduates Argyro Tsantalidou and Chrysovalantis-Georgios Kontoulis for their excellent MSc theses, which were selected by our teaching staff as the two best theses of the 2019-2020 class. Both theses have achieved great results in cutting-edge data science topics. The thesis of Argyro was about “Data-Driven Prediction Models for Insects Population based on Earth Observation Data” and that by Chrysovalantis-Georgios was about “Keyphrase Extraction from Scholarly Documents”. It was a very difficult decision, among several high quality MSc theses. We are very happy about the hard work that all our students put into their MSc theses and their great achievements!
